Educators are often first responders in recognizing behavioral and mental health symptoms in their students. This webinar will explore common DSM-5 childhood behavioral health diagnoses, to include identification, best practice assessment and treatment.

Learning Objectives

*Participants will learn signs and symptoms associated with prominent childhood behavioral health disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder/PTSD, and anxiety.

*Best practice assessment for childhood behavioral health disorders will be reviewed. Participants will be provided with two diagnostic inventories to assist the Educational Therapist in screening for behavioral health issues in children.

*Participants will be familiarized with best practice treatments for childhood behavioral health diagnoses that impact learning.
