Our conference will be held at HUB757 in beautiful Suffolk, VA. Join us on November 2nd for professional development workshops and on November 3rd for our live conference event. The main conference keynote sessions will be recorded. The breakout sessions will NOT be recorded. Plus, join us at NILD Headquarters on November 2nd from 6-8 pm for an Open House event.

- Dr. Virginia Berninger's construct on The Simple View of Writing which emphasizes as cognitive resources are "freed up" the brain is able to devote more thinking to the actual content of written expression
- Why the brain needs to organize its thoughts and the importance of communicating its thoughts on paper
