Bio: I am a mom of three. I taught at a Christian School and then at an international school in China. After having children I ran my own business and then decided to return to the school setting to help students through NILD.
Bio: After spending ten years homeschooling my three children, I joined Pearl Center for Learning in August 2023 as a Math Aide, math tutor, and substitute teacher. Inspired by a passion for helping students with learning differences, I pursued training through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD). Since earning my Level I NILD Educational Therapist certification in August 2024, I have also received my NILD TEACH, Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE), Woodcock-Johnson Achievement Administration, and Level II NILD Educational Therapist certifications. Today, I provide NILD educational therapy to five students while teaching middle school math and elementary science and social studies at Pearl Center for Learning. I am passionate about helping students strengthen their cognitive abilities, build academic skills, and develop the confidence to become independent learners. Outside of Pearl, I serve weekly as a pre-teen small group leader and substitute director at my church. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three children, and our two dogs.
