Bio: After 50 years of ministry with college students on various campuses across the U.S., I was not ready to re-“tire”, but rather to re-“fire” for the next season to which God would lead me. My daughter-in-law, who has been an NILD Educational Therapist for several years, suggested I investigate her profession. She felt I had the qualities and gifts that would excel at helping students with Special Learning Differences. Knowing her success stories, researching NILD, and completing the Level 1 training convinced me she was right. I sensed God's calling to invest the rest of my life into helping young students develop the skills of how to learn and not just what to learn. I am only accepting boys as clients and am committed to their success both in the classroom and in life.
Bio: I am Theodora Nelligan Vinton (Dori), and I have worked as an educator in different roles for the past 30 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Elon University, began my teaching career in Southern California, where I grew up, and pursued my master's at Loyola Marymount University. Then I moved to Europe to teach for a year. I met my future Canadian husband while travelling, and I have lived in Canada for the past 24 years. We have been married for 23 years, have three children ages 15, 18, and 20, and a golden retriever. I have worked at Kelowna Christian School for 14 years as a reading specialist and Grade 2 teacher. I am thrilled to be finishing my master's and becoming an Educational Therapist at Regent University.
Bio: I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Trinity International University.
