Bio:   My name is Kori Lyn Roy, kroy@hcs.la. I got my bachelor's degree from CSU Channel Islands in 2022. I am a substitute teacher, safety inspector, teacher’s assistant, and help with any project. I’ve worked at Heritage for 3 years and at my church’s children’s ministry before that for 5 years. I came and have stayed at Heritage because I agree with their goals and mindsets to educate children through the love of Jesus. I love the creativity and spirit of children and have cared for them in many different capacities since I was 12. I love to substitute teach in order to help the teachers keep on top of their students' education when they are away, and so that I can get to know all of the students here at Heritage as I participate class to class. I was born November, 2000 and was married in February, 2023 to my best friend. We own our dog, Zenana, and live in Wood Ranch Simi Valley. I’m a self motivated person who loves to stay healthy, organized, and productive, but do all this so I can enjoy all the fun things I plan with family and friends. I love adventures and board games. Bio:   My name is Sabrina Joiner, and I have a background in psychology, school psychology, and education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degrees in School Psychology and Human Resources Management. Throughout my career, I have worked with students and families in educational settings, supporting academic growth, learning differences, and individualized educational planning. My experiences as an academic coach, homeschool consultant, and parent have deepened my passion for helping students develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. I am pursuing NILD Educational Therapy training because I believe in addressing the underlying cognitive processes that impact learning, rather than simply accommodating weaknesses. I am excited to continue growing professionally and to equip families with effective, research-based tools that help students reach their God-given potential. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy homeschooling my daughters, supporting homeschool families, and developing educational resources through Woven Minds Education.
