Bio: I have over 10 years of experience in the field of education and 7 years of experience working as an educational therapist. I enjoy working with a variety of ages and can successfully remediate challenges in reading, math, and executive function skills. However, what I believe sets me apart is my ability to help my clients see their potential and to challenge them to believe in themselves.
Bio: I began my training with NILD in 2010, while teaching Kindergarten at Trinity Oaks Christian Academy in Cary, IL and completed Levels 1 and 2, as well as SEARCH & TEACH, Rx for Reading, and WJIII. After a move to Aurora, IL in 2013, I worked as an independent ET at Aurora Christian School, and began working as a Family Teacher at Mooseheart Child City and School. Meanwhile, I continued my training, completing Level 3 in 2016. During the pandemic in 2020 - 21 I was trained in teletherapy so that I could continue to meet with my students. In 2022 I accepted a position at Calvary Christian School in Naperville, IL, where I was the school librarian and reading interventionist. I received training in the new Gray Matter materials, bringing up-to-date reading help to my students. While at Calvary, I worked with over 30 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and saw lots of improvement in the two years I was there! Currently I am beginning my own practice, Complete Learning Development, and am excited to continue my growth as an independent Educational Therapist!
Bio: My name is Debbie Engle and I have a heart for children who struggle to learn. I have a degree in Special Education Physical Disabilities and have worked with children with a variety of special needs. I was thrilled to learn about NILD educational therapy and have enjoyed watching my students learn and grow in their confidence through therapy. I had a homeschool for four students at Eagle's Wings Academy, where I provided therapy alongside a full curriculum five days a week. I currently work 1:1 with students in my home in Greenfield, WI or online for students too far away to come to my home. My deepest desire is to be used by God to encourage and give hope to children who are differently abled.
