Bio: My husband and I have lived in the Gadsden area for over twenty years. I have always homeschooled our children, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping children make connections. During my years as an educator, I have seen firsthand that not all students learn and process the same. I strive to meet my students where they are while giving them the tools to propel them forward as they learn and grow.
Bio: 40 years classroom teaching, since 2014 Search and Teach, educational therapist since 2015. I homeschooled and taught in private, city and county schools and have been in love with classical Christian education since 1996 as homeschool and brick and mortar school philosophies.
Bio: I am an educator with 21 years of experience in the field of education. I have taught all grades in the classroom K-5. I have served in administration as well - providing oversight for teachers and students. I have a Master's in Education from Regent University and am completing my doctoral dissertation with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from Regent University as well. I am a Level 1 NILD Educational Therapist , serving students in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. This is my 4th year serving as an Educational Therapist. It has become such a blessing to me, and I love to see my students push through learning challenges and become confident in the classroom! My husband and I live in Chesapeake VA. We are the proud proud parents of a Merchant Marine (my son ), a spunky and intelligent daughter, and a cute, adorable fur baby!
Bio: I have been a licensed therapist with NILD for 3 years and received my PCET licensure in 2023. Currently, I work in a private school offering Educational Therapy, Reading Groups, and Executive Functioning Coaching. I also have a private practice, Advokate Learning, that offers teletherapy services and in-person.
Bio: Kathy Kiser, M.Ed., NILD PCET Kathy is a 35-year veteran in the realm of education with 21 years focused on educational intervention for students with learning differences. In 2003, she began her journey as an NILD Educational Therapist and started a Discovery Program in Mobile, Alabama. Kathy is currently the Director of Therapy Services at Rocky Bayou Christian School in Niceville, Florida, and coordinates services to include Occupational, Physical, Speech, Behavioral, and NILD Educational Therapy for RBCS students. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Pensacola Christian College and a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on Special Education from Liberty University.
