Bio:   Learning Specialist, Title Interventionist, Son with Down Syndrome

Bio:   I am a homeschool mom of 3, ages 12, 10, and 8. I have been homeschooling for 7 years. My oldest is in his 3rd year of receiving therapy from an NILD therapist. I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies.

Bio:   With 28 years in the field of education, I have served in a variety of roles including upper elementary classroom teacher, ESL instructor, reading tutor, homeschooling mother of five for 10 years, alternative education teacher, and now a teacher in a Christian school. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique ways each child learns and grows. My passion is to come alongside students and help them develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive. I believe every child is created with purpose, and my desire is to help them live out the full potential that God has given them. It is truly a joy to partner with families in guiding their child toward their God-given destiny.

Bio:   I am a licensed NILD Educational Therapist with training also in Feuerstein Cognitive Enrichment and Equipping Minds programs. Through cognitive development activities and structured literacy, I desire to help students increase their learning potential and grow into independent learners, enabling them to achieve academic success they never thought possible. I have 25 years of experience in education, both in the classroom and in homeschooling my five children through high school.

Bio:   Hello! I am a teacher turned homeschool mama to my three kids. I have homeschooled for ten years. I also teach in the co-op setting to about 50 students each year. I teach mostly reading intervention with phonemic awareness and writing classes for middle school. I have a BA in English Literature and a M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Before I had children of my own, I taught classes at a live in teen rehab in Los Angeles. I love learning and feel that first, I'm always a student. My youngest was diagnosed with severe dyslexia and having a NILD therapist has made such a difference and I'm eager to learn to continue to help her and others!
