Bio:   My name is Kori Lyn Roy, kroy@hcs.la. I got my bachelor's degree from CSU Channel Islands in 2022. I am a substitute teacher, safety inspector, teacher’s assistant, and help with any project. I’ve worked at Heritage for 3 years and at my church’s children’s ministry before that for 5 years. I came and have stayed at Heritage because I agree with their goals and mindsets to educate children through the love of Jesus. I love the creativity and spirit of children and have cared for them in many different capacities since I was 12. I love to substitute teach in order to help the teachers keep on top of their students' education when they are away, and so that I can get to know all of the students here at Heritage as I participate class to class. I was born November, 2000 and was married in February, 2023 to my best friend. We own our dog, Zenana, and live in Wood Ranch Simi Valley. I’m a self motivated person who loves to stay healthy, organized, and productive, but do all this so I can enjoy all the fun things I plan with family and friends. I love adventures and board games. The Lord is my whole life and I seek to grow and pursue Him more every day. "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11
