Bio: Hello! I am so glad that you have found NILD. My name is Lilda RockWiley. As with many educational therapists, I became an educational therapist because our child is dyslexic. Our son was an educational therapy student from the middle of third grade through eighth grade. He is now a flying instructor. He, my husband, and I all firmly agree that his NILD therapy made his progress possible. Credentials: Bachelor of Arts in English, George Mason University, Educational Therapist, PCET (Level III trained), FIE certified, Basic and Standard, SEARCH and TEACH certified. Experience: 11 years as an educational therapist in a private Christian school, 10 years as Assistant Director of the Discovery Program in a private Christian school, 11 years as Lead Search and Teach in a private Christian school, Depending on need, served 5 to 10 students a year. Personal Information: Have been married for 35 years. Have one son, 26 years old, on his own and engaged. My 79-year-old mother lives with my husband and me. We live on 10 acres and have 4 dogs, 2 steers, 1 pig, 2 barn cats, and a bunch of chickens. Active in our church. I LOVE gardening, reading, studying the Bible, learning new things (mostly about the brain and plants!), and lounging in the pool. Though I thoroughly enjoyed working at a school, life changes. I am SO excited about the next phase of life God has called me into. I am looking forward to working with private students. Please feel free to contact me about availability and fees. lrockwiley@gmail.com 301-529-3525 Hope you have a blessed day! Yours, Lilda RockWiley, PCET, certified FIE and SEARCH and TEACH
