Bio: Melissa has been an educator for over 20 years and has served in many capacities from special education teacher for students with language-based disabilities, to general education teacher, reading coach, testing chairperson, to now Director of GRASP (Guidance Remediation and Academic Support System) at Westminster Christian School. She is a certified National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) educational therapist and is working on becoming a structured literacy specialist through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) both of which are accredited by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI) and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). She holds a Florida Department of Education certification, #881920 in the areas of Reading, Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Varying Exceptionalities, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Certification expires in June 2029.
Bio: I am married to a wonderful, Christian man. I have two lovely daughters. One is married and one will be going off to college this fall. My daughter who is going to college had NILD therapy with Kari Bondar at Destiny Faith High School. It was a miracle cure for her learning development. I want to learn NILD and help other children.
Bio: I am a homeschool mom of 3, ages 12, 10, and 8. I have been homeschooling for 7 years. My oldest is in his 3rd year of receiving therapy from an NILD therapist. I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies.
Bio: Myra Willemin is a Licensed, Professionally Certified NILD Educational Therapist and a Certified Dyslexia Therapist. She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and a Master of Education Degree from Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. Myra has been an educational therapist since 1996, working with students from kindergarten to high school seniors. Prior to becoming an NILD Educational Therapist and an IDA Certified Dyslexia Therapist, she taught in the classroom for 20 years.
