Overview
The Bridget Hughes Lifelong Learner Scholarship is designed to empower educators in their mission to transform lives through learning. In honor of Bridget Hughes’s profound legacy, this scholarship provides financial assistance to educators pursuing specialized training through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD). Through this support, recipients will be equipped with evidence-based strategies that enhance their ability to serve students with learning challenges, unlocking their God-given potential.
Eligibility Criteria
✔ Be currently employed or actively pursuing a role as an educator, therapist, or specialist working with students who have learning challenges.
✔ Demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
✔ Be pursuing or planning to pursue training or certification through NILD.
✔ Exhibit a desire to implement evidence-based strategies in educational practice.
Selection Criteria
✔ Demonstrated passion for supporting students with learning challenges
✔ Evidence of commitment to continuous professional growth
✔ Alignment with the mission and values of NILD
✔ Financial need and impact of scholarship support
Deadline and Submission
Application Deadline: April 15th annually
Notification of Award: On or around May 1st annually

Use of Funds: Funds may be applied toward tuition, registration fees, or related expenses for NILD courses.
