Dr. Susan Stanley brings many years of experience in the field, with more than 30 years in a variety of educational environments. Her experience includes homeschooling her five children, teaching high school courses in a private Christian school and providing intervention for students with learning disabilities in a variety of private schools in central Florida as a lifetime-certified NILD educational therapist.
Alongside her experiences in the field of education, Dr. Stanley has had a variety of opportunities to provide professional development in the field of exceptional student education (ESE). She has taught for the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI), NILD, Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, Home School Associations, private schools and parent meetings. She is also an educational consultant, coming alongside ESE programs for many Christian schools in Florida. She has experience in higher education, having taught undergraduate and graduate courses for Liberty University, Belhaven University, Kaplan University and Lake-Sumter Community College before coming to Southeastern.
