Teachers Promoting Student Achievement Through Culturally Responsive Teaching
Webinar Overview
How do teachers achieve more success with students when students and teachers have cultural differences? This webinar is intended to encourage teachers or education therapists, as classroom leaders, to look intricately at Care and Cultural Responsiveness theories through an integrated approach as an answer to this question. In this webinar, I identify research theory and suggest practical solutions for enhancing student learning. The integrated approach can be used by classroom leaders, teachers or therapists, to improve student performance, teacher self-efficacy, and student self-efficacy. By understanding and applying the Care and Cultural Responsiveness theories integrated approach concept (coined as CCRIA), teachers can become more effective leaders in their classrooms. As an educator and principal, I have used this integrated approach with students, faculty, and staff as a leadership tenet, with positive results.
