Bio: Skilled and experienced teacher and educational therapist with a passion for inspiring and effectively educating in a way that meets the needs of every student, particularly those who struggle with specific learning challenges. Diverse teaching experiences including public school, private school, and homeschool. Trained in NILD Educational Therapies (Level 3) and Charlotte Mason pedagogy through Ambleside Schools International. Currently working on Master's degree in Educational Therapy at Southeastern University.
Bio: I recently started my own business, Mind Launch, in Melbourne, FL, using the NILD techniques; however, I've worked with the program since 2007, using it in a variety of countries and settings. I love that through this program and the one-on-one interaction we supply, we can expect change from all learners!

Bio: Melissa has been an educator for over 20 years and has served in many capacities from special education teacher for students with language-based disabilities, to general education teacher, reading coach, testing chairperson, to now Director of GRASP (Guidance Remediation and Academic Support System) at Westminster Christian School. She is a certified National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) educational therapist and is working on becoming a structured literacy specialist through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) both of which are accredited by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI) and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). She holds a Florida Department of Education certification, #881920 in the areas of Reading, Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Varying Exceptionalities, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Certification expires in June 2029.
