Integrating Math with Upper Elementary Students

Webinar Overview
Upper elementary students often struggle with a deep sense of failure in mathematics. With the introduction of operations involving fractions, decimals, and percents, many students feel as though they no longer have a grasp on the math concepts necessary to succeed. This webinar will provide an overview of the greatest challenges facing this age group as well as practical activities and materials to meet these students exactly where they are. Participants will explore engaging tasks to strengthen the number sense of older elementary students and will walk away with knowledge of how to integrate math into core therapy techniques. They will also be equipped to weave time, money, and probability throughout therapy sessions in a natural and meaningful way.
