Reaching the Top of the Mountain: Why Goal Setting Is Important
Setting and achieving goals fosters a growth mindset and builds self-confidence and competence. Establishing meaningful and attainable goals coupled with evaluating and reflecting on one’s progress is an important practice that focuses the learner on his future aspirations and gives him reasons to move forward day by day. In this webinar, we will look at ways to equip students in the area of goal setting and how to motivate them to reach their goals. It is equally important that educational therapists model goal setting, evaluation, and reflection in their own lives, so the session will include practical ways you can reach your own SMART goals!
