Bio: Growing up, I struggled in school, but in high school I tutored my peers and became passionate about learning. For 40 years I have invested in others’ academic success. From bush Alaska to the jungles of Costa Rica, God gave me opportunities to teach elementary school, special education, English as a second language, homeschool our three children, and mentor homeschool moms while tutoring their children. My desire as an educational therapist and certified teacher is to serve children and adults as they overcome learning challenges and become confident and competent lifelong learners.
Bio: Out of college I taught 7th and 8th grade in a smaller Christian school. After having twins, I stayed home for a number of years. For the last decade or so, I have served as educational therapist at Lynden Christian School in Lynden, Washington.
